Face Pain

I have been having pain in my face since September. For most of the time my Dr. thought that it was a chronic sinus infection. I went though 4 different types of antibiotics. Some that had side effects that I did not like. I finally got an ENT appointment and a CT. It turns out that there was nothing wrong with my sinus. He thought that it might be my wisdom teeth coming in.

I went to my dentist and it was not my wisdom teeth. It turns out that I have a bad bite and that this is what it causing the pain. He filed some of my teeth down to get them to tough in the right spot but told me this is only a temporary measure and I need to go to an orthodontist. 3 days after he did this the pain is gone for the most part. After I clench my teeth some of the pain comes back. I have made appointments with three different orthodontist in the next two weeks to see what they have to say.

The fun part to all of this is that my dental insurance will not cover any of it.

Weather

Well it is snowing again. This make the 5th week in a row. I am glad that I finished my mittens last night. They are made out of leftover sock yarn. I most definitely need them.

Forest Path Stole-A-Long

I am thinking of joining the Forest Path Stole-A-Long. I love the look of the stole and it sounds fun to do. I think that I might make it in sport weight yarn though and turn it into an afghan.

right now 3:17 am, I am working in OR. Cases start around 7:30 to get much done I have to get in at 4am. Otherwise I like to get up at 7:30 which is a weekend only thing.

Umm, pearls, but I like color gems or stones more.

I went to a movie in the cinema this summer but I do not remember what it was. I think that is was Pirates of the Caribbean.

Umm, I like bulb flowers. They are easy to grow and can come in so many colors.

My birthday, I do not know. I tend to get look forward to when I get together with my family.

Fruit cooking, bread cooking.

Getting a new cell phone

Getting a new cell phone is not as easy as a thought it would be. There are so many different phones out there. Then there are so many places to get them. I finally decided to get a Razr, mainly because that is was my parents have. I am getting the phone from amazon, they are taking care of the rebates the only problem is that I can not port my current number. Having to pay a lot now and doing rebates or having to change my number I went with changing my number.

The Year Without a Santa Claus

I saw the live action TV movie The Year Without a Santa Claus last night. It was pretty good. I think that when it comes out on DVD I will get a copy for me and one for my sister. They did a good job of remaking it and I think that it was cast fairly well. It was done well enough that it might last as long as the first one.

Medical Stuff

Meds that I should not take:

Lisinopril makes me cough, very frustrating

Atenolol no longer effective

Cozaar no longer effective

drugs with sudafed in them, I should under no circumstances take. I get insomnia and a vile headache.

I am putting this down mainly so I can remember. I have been having to switch meds lately and do not want to get them mixed up in my head.


I was at the Dr's on Wed and Thus. Wed I got my back adjusted, this went very well. It only took one try to get them all to crack.

Thus. I found out that the CT I had 2 weeks ago showed that five of my sinuses are infected. This definitely explain all the pain that I have been having. My ears have been hurting because my sinuses have not been draining right, they have been pushing against my ear drums. So I am back on antibiotics and mucinex D. I will see what happens. It is just that I have been having issues for around four months and want it over. That and all of the meds are expensive, $24 each, it adds up.

I think that one of the reasons that I have not read many of these is that they are from a long time ago. Many are from before I am born and when I started to read Sci-Fi they were not about anything that I wanted to read. Not all books stand up to the test of time.

Thanksgiving prep

I have been cleaning and decluttering my house. My parents are coming and everything must be clean. Dude I let things get a little to far. It took all day to get my craft room cleared enough to get the beds set up in there.

While cleaning the kitchen I set the oven to self clean. This worked and my kitchen smelled bad for a while. The cleaning cycle finishes and the oven should unlock. It doesn't. I end up Sunday taking the back off the over and taking things apart to get the oven door to open. I currently have the door switch covered with a piece of duck tape. The oven works but I think that I will start to look for a new one.
